FemFirstHealth is a women’s health physical therapy practice, our Midtown office is located conveniently by both Bryant Park and Grand Central Station.

Kristin Sapienza and the FFH team provide a variety of services at our Midtown Manhattan location including pelvic floor physical therapy, postpartum care, lymphedema, and breast cancer rehabilitation.

  • Dr. Kristin Sapienza

    Founder of FemFirstHealth

    Kristin Sapienza PT, DPT, takes a personal approach to physical therapy by customizing a treatment plan for each patient. Kristin combines manual therapy techniques with exercise and education to assist patients in recovery while teaching them how to prevent future injury.

  • Dr. Jennifer Purwin

    Jennifer Purwin PT, DPT, CSCS, is a Physical Therapist who specializes in pelvic health and orthopedics. A long-time practitioner of traditional heated yoga, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa, Jennifer has completed yoga teacher training and especially enjoys teaching yin and restorative classes and utilizing meditation techniques to decrease stress.

  • Dr. Lima Iype

    Dr. Lima graduated with a doctorate of physical therapy from Long Island University in 2010. Dr. Lima has worked with pediatric population of all ages and different diagnoses for over 11 years. After having her own kids and going through the postpartum journey, she decided to practice orthopedic and pelvic floor physical therapy. Dr. Lima believes in empowering women to optimize their movements without pain, weakness and incontinence. She utilizes a whole body approach when treating clients, which includes myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, and yoga.

  • Dr. Melissa Jesski

    Melissa Jesski PT, DPT has worked in a variety of outpatient orthopedic settings including aquatic physical therapy. Melissa is skilled in postural correction, post-surgical rehabilitation, gait and running mechanics, balance and proprioceptive training, as well as pregnancy and postpartum.

  • Caitha Barr

    Caitha Barr, OTR/L, CLT, is an occupational therapist with a passion for women's health. She received her Bachelor's degree in Human Development from the University of Georgia, and went on to earn her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Georgia State University. Caitha has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including pediatrics, inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, and outpatient care at a cancer hospital.

  • Breast Cancer Rehabilitation
